Your guide to yourself through movement

I am Natalija RiΕΎka

My life always seemed intense and full…

For many years, I worked in the corporate world β€” leading teams and delivering large-scale global IT projects with passion, precision, and energy, inspiring those around me along the way.

I’ve climbed mountains, free-dived in the oceans, hiked through the wild, and danced at Burning Man.
I became a certified fitness trainer, ran daily, and tried almost every kind of sport. Movement has always been my element.

I’ve faced several brain concussions, a broken leg, divorces, and personal crises.
And yet β€” every time I fell, I rose stronger, hungrier for life.

Friends call me Phoenix β€” for always rising again.
Others call me Unicorn β€” someone rare to meet..

Still, despite all the life adventures, challenges, and achievements, the itch inside grew stronger β€” the sense that my enormous energy was meant for more than what I did, for something more meaningful, to help make this world a better place to live.

The Seed of Dance

People say we know from childhood what is truly ours.

At a year and a half, I climbed to the top of the slide in kindergarten β€” and danced. Children and teachers gathered to watch.
My whole life, dance has been my joy: free, spontaneous, bringing people together.

After another brain concussion and a divorce, I came to Bali with no return ticket.

There, dance became my medicine.
On the beach, in clubs, even in airports β€” eyes closed, I moved, released, and healed.

Step by step, I was returning to myself.
When I danced, I felt at home β€” and I sparked others more and more.

That’s when I realised: this is my driving force, my life’s gift.

I began searching for science-based methods to go deeper β€” so I could hold this space for others with clarity and intention.

Discovering Dance–Movement Therapy

I discovered Dance–Movement Therapy (DMT), a discipline born in the mid-20th century, shortly after World War II, when therapists realised that words alone were not enough to help people β€” especially veterans β€” heal.

Movement could reach where language could not, because the body does not hold the same psychological barriers as the mind.

The essence of DMT is simple, yet profound:
The body and mind are deeply connected.
That through intentional movement, we can release old patterns, express what has been held inside, and even rewire ourselves into new ways of being.

In my own journey, I experienced how unexpressed emotions live in the body β€” and how moving them brings freedom, clarity, and joy.

This is why I deeply believe in the power of DMT.

My Work Today

I guide individuals, couples, groups, and companies through experiences that reconnect them with their bodies, emotions, and inner resources.
Whether it’s a one-on-one session, a couple’s journey, a workshop, or a corporate wellbeing program β€” the essence is the same:
creating a safe space where movement becomes transformation.

My workshops and sessions are not about performance or choreography.
They are about honesty. About listening to the body. About discovering the parts of yourself that words alone cannot reach.

My Mission

I believe dance and movement are medicine β€” a way to return home to ourselves.

To live fully, in harmony with who we truly are, and to unfold our full potential.

And I will guide you there through movement β€” with care and with joy.

Let’s Move Together,
Yours Natālija
